Mission

The mission of the Bode Library Media Center is to create and support a passion for knowledge and a love of reading, to teach students to become skilled users of information tools, to develop life-long learners, and to integrate technology and resources into the school curriculum through collaboration.

This mission is accomplished:

By providing access to informational materials in a variety of formats and media
By encouraging and supporting students and faculty interests in reading, viewing, and using information
By collaborating with faculty to design curriculum that meets the needs of each learner
By providing instruction in information literacy
